BITUGUARD is an emulsified thixotropic bitumen damp proof protective coating. The coating dries to form a black flexible protective film. The finished film forms a tough barrier to vapour transmission. Bituguard incorporates fibres that provide reinforcements provide high tensile and bond strength. It is used as the internal lining of water storage tanks, including for potable water, External treatment of below ground structures against water ingress and attack by aggressive groundwater.
